1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings and stays at SPA CHALET VELUWE, Krachtighuizerkern 22, Unit 24, 3881 PL Putten, The Netherlands.

By making a booking, the guest confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, together with the applicable booking information, House Rules and any specific conditions displayed during the booking process. Where a booking is made through a third-party platform such as Booking.com or Airbnb, the platform's applicable booking terms and conditions may also apply.

2. Purpose of the Accommodation

SPA CHALET VELUWE is intended for tourist and recreational accommodation only. The accommodation is not intended to be used as a permanent residence, business premises or long-term workplace.

If a reservation is made on behalf of a company or primarily for business purposes, the guest should contact us before arrival. We reserve the right to clarify whether the booking is suitable for the accommodation.

3. Booking and Occupancy

The person making the booking must provide accurate information and must be authorised to make the reservation. The number of guests staying at the chalet must not exceed the number stated in the booking.

Maximum occupancy: 4 adults + 2 children.

Any additional overnight guest must be notified to and approved by the owner in advance, unless already included in the booking.

4. Check-in and Check-out

Standard check-in is from 15:00. Standard check-out is by 10:00. Earlier check-in and later check-out may be requested but are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed. Self check-in may be used.

5. House Rules

Guests must comply with the House Rules published on the website and provided as part of the booking information.

In particular:
• Smoking inside the chalet is prohibited.
• Parties and events are prohibited.
• Noise must be kept to a reasonable level.
• The park's quiet environment must be respected.
• Wood burning in the sauna and hot tub must stop by 21:30.
• A towel must be used in the sauna.
• Pets require prior approval and are subject to the applicable €50 pet fee.
• Pets are not permitted in the hot tub or sauna.

Serious or repeated violations of the House Rules may result in termination of the stay without refund, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.

6. Pets

Well-behaved pets may be accepted by prior arrangement. A €50 pet fee per booking applies. Guests must notify us before arrival if they intend to bring a pet.

Guests are responsible for any damage or exceptional cleaning costs caused by their pet. Pets must not enter the hot tub or sauna.

7. Hot Tub and Sauna

The hot tub and sauna are wood-fired facilities. Guests are responsible for using them carefully and following the safety and operating instructions provided at the chalet.

Firewood is not included unless expressly stated otherwise in the booking. Guests must not leave fires or heating equipment unattended where doing so would create a safety risk.

The wood-burning facilities must not be used after the permitted time specified in the House Rules.

8. Damage and Loss

Guests are expected to treat the accommodation, furniture, equipment, garden, hot tub and sauna with reasonable care. The guest may be held responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage or loss caused by their actions, negligence, misuse or failure to follow the House Rules.

Lost items include, but are not limited to:
• Key: €20 replacement cost
• Parking card: €85 replacement cost

Other damage or replacement costs will be assessed according to the actual reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

9. Cleaning

Normal final cleaning is included in the accommodation arrangement. Guests are not required to wash bed linen or towels at check-out.

Guests should place dishes in the dishwasher and run the dishwasher before departure and dispose of rubbish in the designated rubbish bags.

Exceptional cleaning caused by smoking, parties, excessive mess, unauthorised pets or other misuse may be charged separately where permitted by law.

10. Facilities and Third-Party Services

Park facilities such as the swimming pool, playground, restaurant and café may be operated by third parties. Their opening hours, seasonal availability and operation may change.

SPA CHALET VELUWE cannot guarantee the availability of facilities that are outside the owner's direct control.

11. Booking Payments and Cancellation

The price, payment schedule and cancellation conditions applicable to a reservation are those shown during the booking process or confirmed through the booking platform used by the guest.

Where a third-party booking platform is used, its applicable payment and cancellation terms also apply. For direct bookings, the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking applies.

12. Liability

SPA CHALET VELUWE will take reasonable care to provide the accommodation and facilities as described.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SPA CHALET VELUWE is not responsible for loss, theft, injury, interruption or damage resulting from circumstances outside the reasonable control of the owner, including interruptions to utilities, weather conditions, actions of third parties or temporary closure of park facilities.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Complaints

If a guest experiences a problem during their stay, they should contact us as soon as reasonably possible. This gives us an opportunity to investigate and, where possible, resolve the problem during the stay.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are intended to be governed by the laws of the Netherlands, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
